Grandpa
We are saddened at the loss of our dear sweet Grandpa David Hollingshead. He was always fun to be around we loved to hear his funny stories about his childhood, listen to him sing and laugh when we pulled on his beard and he would maa like a sheep. I remember going down to his house every summer with Melissa, we always enjoyed listening to Grandpa tell stories even though it was kind of long sometimes, like the time he talked to us at the table during breakfast and we were still sitting there when Grandma Dorothy asked us if we would like some lunch. We loved to tease him about his lengthy prayers on the food (which sometimes he forgot to bless the food). He loved to take us to the BYU campus (Heaven on Earth to him) and get some ice cream, then we would drive by the MTC. One time he took Melissa and I to Bridal Veil Falls, he video taped us in front of the falls, after we got home we watched it and you could hear him teasing us about the "cute" guy that we were next to. He always loved to tell jokes! He was a wonderful missionary, that was one of his greates passions, I loved to hear him talk about the different places he had gone. He also was a wonderful cook we always loved to have his chili and his Christmas wassail. Grandpa we all love you and are going to miss you and can't wait to see you again and pull on your beard:).
