Disneyland!

We have been saving for a long time to go to Disneyland for Logan's sixth grade graduation. We went with Tenille and her family, my parents and Spencer's friends the Quintero's. We left Saturday the 14th of May EARLY in the morning (4:00). We decided to drive straight through we caravaned with my parents because Tenille left on Thursday so they could visit with Spencer's brother who lives in California and Mark and Alesha flew in. We made pretty good time until we were almost to Barstow and we blew a tire. Apparently a lot of people lose tires on that stretch because there were a ton of Tire stores in Barstow. We were able to find a used tire for only 32 dollars! That night we just relaxed in the hotel (Ayres Inn in Orange Loved it!!)
The next day we went to Santa Monica Beach, it was so nice to sit on the beach and soak in the sun, Utah had not seen a lot of sun for a LONG time! We also went to a pedestrian mall by the beach and went to the Disney store and found a couple of shirts for a lot cheaper than in Disneyland.
Monday was our first of five days in Disneyland. It was actually kind of busy (nothing like summer though) it was really nice weather too. On Tuesday we woke up to rain :/ yes I guess it followed us from Utah. We decided to tough it out and just bought some rain ponchos in the park, it only rained until about noon and then it cleared up, the afternoon was not even very busy because a lot of people left when it was raining. Tenille decided to take her little munchkins back to the hotel so they could change into dry clothes and go to the store. Wednesday we decided to be a little crazy and do the fast pass for the world of color, will I ever do it again...no. It was really cool but extremely crowded! Also on Wednesday after speed walking to go to Toy Story Mania (again insane but fun) and then going to the 3D Muppet Show Mike got really sick, at first we just thought it was motion sickness but it lasted for a while so after trying to find some Pepto at one of the stores, they referred us to the First Aid station. The nurses were so sweet at the First Aid station they had him lay on a cot and rest, while Logan and I went to Bug's Land which was right next to the First Aid station. After about an hour we came back to check on him and he was doing so much better, so we decided to go to get some dinner, Mike thought maybe he could handle a sandwich, but quickly changed his mind after walking into the shop that sold bread bowls and sandwiches. Thursday was a much better day. Friday the park was pretty busy, we went to California Adventure first that day,Logan and I decided to ride on Tower of Terror for the first time Mike also came on it with us. I LOVED it! I know crazy, but I love feeling like I am falling but hate heights, in this ride it is all dark so you cant tell! We stayed to watch the Fireworks that night and then went back to the hotel.
We decided to take two days to come home (it is not as fun leaving as coming) We stayed in St. George and finally we were able to swim! We had so much fun! We can't wait to go back :)
